Mission

Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 – 19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty.

Greetings from Our President

Greetings and Welcome!

It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Award-Winning, 6-Time Five Star, PheNOMenal North Oakland/Macomb Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

I have the distinct honor of serving as the 2025–2027 Chapter President, and it is a privilege to work alongside 58 dynamic, dedicated, and visionary mothers who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of all children in our community.

We are delighted that you are interested in learning more about our chapter. We welcome the opportunity to share the incredible programming we provide to nurture, empower, and inspire our children.

Since our chartering in 1998, our chapter has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence through transformative programming, unmatched leadership development, and impactful community engagement. At the heart of all we do are our children and today, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. encompasses 271 chapters and represents over 50,000 families who continue to make a lasting impact in communities across the nation.

This year, our Chapter theme is “Rooted in Sisterhood. Driven by Purpose. United for Tomorrow”. It serves as a reminder that the heart of our chapter has always been the relationships we build with one another. When we are rooted in genuine sisterhood, we create a space where every mother feels supported, valued, and empowered to lead in her own unique way. Together, we will continue to build a legacy of excellence, unity, and leadership—one that honors those who came before us while inspiring the generations yet to come.

As we move through this program year, let us be intentional about showing up for one another, sharing our gifts, and working together with purpose. Every conversation, every act of service, and every opportunity to collaborate strengthens not only our chapter but also the example we set for our children. I am excited to carry forward our legacy within this extraordinary organization that began with our beloved founder, Marion Stubbs Thomas, who established this organization in 1938. On behalf of the Executive Board and our dynamic members and their families, thank you for your interest in Jack and Jill of America, Inc.

We encourage you to visit our website periodically to learn more about our upcoming events, enriching programs, and community engagement efforts. We look forward to connecting with you as we continue to make a meaningful impact—one child, one family, and one community at a time.

Thank you,

Andrea J. Hunter
